Our Elders
Luke Nickerson serves as one of the overseers of the congregation. He and his lovely wife, Marilyn, live in Queen City, TX. Brother Nickerson is a retired school principal and football coach. He enjoys deep conversations on Bible principles and teaching others about Christ. He has a great love for helping others and wants to see the Lord’s church grow.
Jay Johnson serves as an overseer of the congregation. He is married to his lovely wife Patricia. He, Patricia, and their wonderful daughter Brittany live in Vivian, LA. Brother Johson enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience of life with others. His goal is to get others to see the importance of living the Christian life and letting our lights shine in the world. In his spare time, he loves to hunt and play board games with friends and family.

Anthony Flunder is the preacher for the Atlanta Church of Christ. Anthony was born and raised in Midland Texas, and was baptized at the Lee St. Church of Christ where the late Bro. L. H. Alexander served as minister. Anthony is the 3rd generation of gospel preachers in his family. Anthony has preached at congregations in Lubbock, TX including 20th and Birch Church of Christ and Manhattan Heights Church of Christ. He is a graduate of Texas Tech University, and is married to the lovely Urisonya Flunder of Houston, TX.
